Worship for our congregation is the joyful and meditative response to God’s gracious presence in our lives.  We come together as a faith community to worship each Sunday at 10 a.m.  This is a time of spiritual focus and sharing a sense of community.

In our classic New England sanctuary, music by our Chancel Choir, youth and adult handbell choirs, and Youth Choir adds meaning to our weekly worship services. Our 1,735-pipe, handcrafted Moeller organ enhances all aspects of worship life.  Other vocalists and instrumentalists add to our worship service on a regular basis.

Our services include responsive readings, hymns, meditations, readings from Scripture, and the Lord ’s Prayer. (We say “debts and debtors.”)

After the Children’s Message, children may remain in the sanctuary with their parents or participate in a supervised program with our staff of caregivers for the remainder of the service.

The first Sunday of each month, the congregation participates in the sacrament of Communion.  You do not have to be a member to receive communion. Children are welcome to receive communion.

After the service, coffee, lemonade, cookies and other treats are served in Fellowship Hall. Participants are welcome to take their refreshments to the Adult Education program, also presented in Fellowship Hall.

On the third Sunday of every month, a Town Hall meeting is held after the worship service, giving members a chance to learn about church activities and to ask questions.

In addition to our year-round services at 10 a.m. each Sunday, services are offered during Lent and Advent, including Ash Wednesday, Maundy Thursday and Good Friday and Christmas Eve.
